Helmets are recommended. Helmets provide significant protection, but cannot provide total protection. Please use caution, good judgement, and follow the Skier Responsibility Code, whenever you ski or snowboard. By wearing a helmet, and following the code, you will reduce your risk of injuries. Equipment is available first-come, first-served. There is a limited supply of equipment available. All equipment must be returned to the rental shop by closing on the due date. Advance online purchases are strongly suggested. Save time in line as well as money by purchasing multi-day rentals when skiing 2-7 days in a row. Equipment can be picked up in the Rental Shop on the specific day you request at purchase, OR you can pickup your rental equipment in the Rental Shop two hours before closing time the day prior to your visit (on days Ski Bear is open the day prior) to save time the day of your visit.
There are no refunds. Requests to change specific purchased dates & times will incur a $20 change fee.
It is necessary to provide height, weight, and ability (cautious/Type 1, intermediate/Type 2, or aggressive/Type 3) at the time of purchase. Accurate weight, height, age and ability is essential to proper adjustment of any release bindings. Equipment is only to be worn by the person to whom the equipment was originally assigned.
A waiver must be signed at the time of purchase. If a child under the age of 18 needs to rent equipment, a parent must sign the waiver.
Helmets are NOT included in any rental packages but are recommended and are available for daily rentals or purchase.
We are typically open mid-December through mid-March. Hours are subject to weather.
